Christos Kolperiadis was the winner of the first tarmac rally, the Centaur Rally for the Hellenic eRally Championship and declared at the end of the race: “It went well, nice roadbook, see you next time“. The first day found him 4th in the general classification but on the second day he went on the counterattack, winning 3 out of 4 special stages.
A very good performance by Manos Gerardis who finished in 2nd place in the overall standings and remains at the top of the championship standings.
In the last plast place of the podium was Thodoris Voudouris, who steadily climbed positions in the general classification after the mistakes of his opponents and declared at the end of the race: “I also completed the Centaur rally, at a relatively good pace but cautiously. I had a few days to train because I’m leaving tomorrow. Good luck to everyone! “.
Antonis Paparinopoulos was the unlucky one of the rally, who declared: “Abandon from me.. really for no reason a small contact with the famous barriers 500m before the end of the 5th special stage and the engine died.. (in the meantime I touched on the side) very disappointing… “, It should be noted that he was first overall at the end of the first day, but the famous barriers of Arteara deprived him of any hope of a podium finish.
In C2, the winning points were taken by Dimitris Theodorou and in C3, Valantis Karalis with the spectacular Xsara Kit Car.
In C4, Nikos Tsaknias entered the tarmac strongly as well, with Kostas Tsioumas following him in 2nd place. Dimitris Amaxopoulos took 3rd place on the podium after Giorgos Bratsos crashed on the 3rd special stage.
Finally, in the historic group, Thodoris Kapourniotis also took the victory points in Pelion with the beastly Audi Sport Quattro.
