Jourdan Serderidis- Monte Carlo Rally- 1st day- A difficult start

The Monte Carlo Rally did not start in the best way for Jourdan Serderidis. The representative of Greece in the World Rally Championship was left far behind in the general classification from the start due to going off the road on an icy spot in Thursday’s second night special.

“We didn’t start the race the way we wanted. In a tricky spot of ice in the second stage of the race we went off the road losing a lot of time. We got stuck on the ice and struggled to get back on course, losing more than a minute. But that’s what racing is all about, this is the Monte Carlo Rally. At least we got to the end of the day and we’re moving on.” were the words of the visibly disappointed Serderidis.

The night specials always made it difficult for the Greek driver who also lost time in the first special due to visibility problems. The positive thing is that the Serderidis-Miclotte crew completed the first day of the race without any unpleasant surprises and will continue their efforts in the following days with the aim of improving their position in the ranking: ” The fight is long. We knew that night routes are our Achilles heel. But we arrived at the Service Park in Monaco and we look forward to the continuation of the race with optimism “, stressed Iordanis Serderidis. Friday’s leg consists of six special routes with a length of 105 racing kilometers.
