After about a year I decided to take pictures again. The occasion was the WEC 6H and the Spa-Classic in Belgium. Endurance race with the new racing cars has taken off again with race day spectators reaching 80,000! Great weather all day which is something you don’t often see at this track. Loaded with all the equipment, I immediately said, Nikolaki, today you will run. At first it was a bit strange until I found the settings a bit, because in the end what you leave will leave you, is a law! As long as I had strength I walked and changed several spots with the result being quite good after such abstinence but also with a lot of people and photographers in the most famous spots. An hour before it was over it was red flagged and with so many people the smartest thing to do is to leave if you want to save yourself the hassle.
The following week had the historic cars with many classes and races that you don’t see often enough. The weather is classic, cold, rain and a bit of sun at the end. An ordinary day at the Spa. Here I was tired from the very first hour to the point where I thought of giving up and just enjoying the race because I had gone with a group. Finally I went ahead and said to try some new things to have something different compared to last week. In general, the track requires a lot of walking and because the equipment I have is very heavy, the fatigue is great. Now next event unknown for the time as well as if it will be video or photos.
